Escape the crowds and noise of Florence with a half day tour to the Tuscan countryside and see the rolling hills and vineyards of Chianti.
Tuscany is famous worldwide for its small hilltop villages and rolling hills, striped with olive groves and vineyards, punctuated by Tuscan cypresses. You will begin your tour with a visit to a local winery, where the owners will greet you with a typical Tuscan snack Crostini Toscani, some of their own olive oil and a taste of their Chianti wine. You will also visit their cellars and learn how the local wine is made.
Then we visit Greve in Chianti, one of the most famous Chianti wine towns, where you have free time to explore the triangular shaped central square, medieval buildings, artisan shops and centuries old butcher shop.
Before returning to Florence, you will get to visit another local winery where the owners will provide another wine tasting along with some typical local products.
